Doorstep Gear Bench

Doorstep Gear Bench turns packed storage into useful campsite infrastructure once camp is established. Vehicle-trunk organization that becomes a two-person gear-up bench.

Design Overview

The Trailbound Grid Storage collection uses ribs, rotating pods, flexible cells and nested compartments to make equipment easier to access without defaulting to a rigid rectangular box. Within this system, Doorstep Gear Bench is focused on vehicle-trunk organization that becomes a two-person gear-up bench.

Why It Works

• Transforming organization: Two nested soft drawers sit inside a folded shear-panel shell.
• Accessible storage: Pulling the drawers apart extends the shell into a bridged bench while shoe and wet-gear trays remain accessible below.
• Intended storage role: Vehicle-trunk organization that becomes a two-person gear-up bench.
